Don Pie menu and prices, 2026

This is the Don Pie range as it stands on the printed menu dated February 2026, which we read in October 2026: the pies baked today under the DonChef name, to the recipes that start with Chef Don Lim’s 1983 Original Chicken Pie. How big is a personal pie, and how many does a whole pie feed?

The menu defines the two sizes by appetite rather than weight: Personal feeds 1, Whole feeds 4 to 6. One reviewer noted that the pies are larger than typical local chicken pies. A whole pie is the better deal per head if you are feeding four or more: six personal Original Chicken Pies cost $40.80, against $33.80 for one whole pie. donchickenpie.com weighs up personal vs whole Don chicken pie in more detail, and for a party, donpieshop.com has a calculator that works out how many to order.

Which pies share a price?

The Original Chicken, Black Pepper Chicken and Chicken Shepherd’s pies all cost $6.80 personal and $33.80 whole. The Curry Pie costs the same personal but more whole ($38.80). The Apple Pie ($8.80, $43.80) and Beef Pie ($13.80, $58.80) are priced on their own ingredients: the beef is New Zealand beef, slow-cooked with a touch of wine.

Which pie should I order first?

Our opinion, for what it is worth:

1. First visit: the Original Chicken Pie. It is the recipe everything else is built on, egg and all.
2. If you like heat: the Black Pepper Chicken Pie.
3. For a group: a whole Original, plus a Chicken Shepherd’s Pie tray for anyone who loves mash.
4. Something richer: the Beef Pie, which costs twice as much and earns it.
5. Dessert: the Apple Pie, or a slice of kueh lapis.

What else is on the menu?

The pies are only one page of a long menu.

• Seasonal and online-only pies. The ordering site has shown extras such as a Creamy Chicken Pie, a build-your-own pie with limited slots, party boxes and a Mid-Autumn Lotus Pie. These come and go, and their prices are shown only on the ordering site.
• The Singapore Pie. The same kitchen bakes a soya-sauce chicken rice pie, with soya sauce chicken, rice and a braised egg inside, which is sold under its own name and has its own site. It is a separate product from the six pies on this page.
• A Chicken Pot Pie Combo ($18.80), baked to order with a salad, for dine-in.

Where is each pie sold?

Pies are sold at all five outlets. The kiosks’ hours come with the note “or earlier if sold out”, so if you have your heart set on one particular flavour late in the day, a quick call or WhatsApp to the outlet first is sensible. The outlet guide lists hours, numbers and what each one sells.
