Quick answer

From Toa Payoh MRT (NS19), take a northbound North South Line train three stops to Ang Mo Kio (NS16) and walk through the underpass to the AMK Hub kiosk at #B2-44. For pies only, go three stops south to Orchard (NS22) for Wisma Atria. For the full menu, ride to Dhoby Ghaut and change for Farrer Park (NE8), near 39 Tyrwhitt Road.

Toa Payoh lost its Don pie stalls in 2021, but it kept something useful: a station on the North South Line with a Don pie kiosk three stops away in each direction. This guide gives you the routes, step by step, and an interactive map you can play with.

Choose a starting point and a destination below. The red line traces the trip, and the steps update underneath. Every route is also written out in full further down the page.

Route 1: Toa Payoh to the AMK Hub kiosk

This is the one most Toa Payoh residents will want. The kiosk is takeaway only, open daily 10am to 9pm (or until sold out), and it is one of two outlets that also sell crab dishes.

  1. Board a northbound North South Line train at Toa Payoh (NS19), towards Jurong East. From Braddell (NS18), the same train is one stop closer.
  2. Ride three stops from Toa Payoh (two from Braddell), past Bishan, to Ang Mo Kio (NS16).
  3. Follow the underpass from the station into AMK Hub.
  4. Go down to Basement 2. The kiosk is at #B2-44, next to the NTUC FairPrice Xtra entrance.

There is no seating at the kiosk. More detail is on the AMK Hub outlet page.

Route 2: Toa Payoh to the Wisma Atria kiosk

Better if you are heading into town anyway. Pies only, open daily 10.30am to 9.30pm.

  1. Board a southbound North South Line train at Toa Payoh, towards Marina South Pier.
  2. Ride three stops, past Novena and Newton, to Orchard (NS22).
  3. Follow the signs into Wisma Atria and go to Basement 1.
  4. The kiosk is at #B1-46, near the restrooms, beside Fruce and Subway.

See the Wisma Atria outlet page.

Route 3: Toa Payoh to the Tyrwhitt Road flagship

The longest trip, and the only one that ends at a table. The flagship at 39 Tyrwhitt Road has the full menu: every pie, cakes, crab bee hoon and seafood.

  1. Board a southbound North South Line train at Toa Payoh.
  2. Ride five stops to Dhoby Ghaut (NS24).
  3. Change to the North East Line, heading towards Little India.
  4. Ride two stops to Farrer Park (NE8).
  5. Walk about 10 minutes to 39 Tyrwhitt Road, opposite Jalan Besar Stadium.

Lavender (EW11) and Jalan Besar (DT22) are also about 10 minutes away on foot, if another line suits you better. The nearest bus stop is Aft Allenby Rd (07319), served by services 23, 64, 65, 67, 130, 139, 147, 147A, 857 and 857B; a journey planner will tell you whether one of them runs from near your block. Opening hours are on the Tyrwhitt Road page.

Starting from Lorong 8 or elsewhere in the estate

Toa Payoh is a big town. If you live around Lorong 8 or the eastern side of the estate, first get to whichever station is nearer: Toa Payoh (NS19) or Braddell (NS18). From there, follow the routes above. A feeder bus to Toa Payoh Bus Interchange, at HDB Hub beside Toa Payoh station, is often the easiest first leg.

Or let the pies come to you

If you would rather not travel, you can order ahead on the official ordering site and either collect from an outlet or have the order delivered. A few things to know:

  • Orders are placed in advance online. Card payment is taken online; pickup orders can also be arranged by WhatsApp.
  • Delivery is by third-party drivers, such as Grab or Lalamove, on a best-effort time slot. The fee depends on distance, with surcharges at peak periods and for some locations.
  • Large orders may qualify for free islandwide delivery. The brand’s home page mentions free delivery above $200.
  • Instant delivery apps carry some outlets too. The brand lists GrabFood and foodpanda for Tyrwhitt Road, AMK Hub and Wisma Atria.

Terms change, so we keep the details and links on one page: how to order Don Pie. For how other bakeries handle fees and lead times, donpieshop.com has an overview of pie delivery in Singapore.

A tip for Toa Payoh office lunches

Pies travel well in a box, and a whole pie feeds four to six. If you are buying for an office near Toa Payoh Central or the Braddell industrial area, one whole Original Chicken Pie ($33.80 on the February 2026 menu) costs less per head than six personal pies ($40.80), though you lose the fun of everyone getting their own crust. If the pies have to wait until lunchtime, donchickenpie.com’s notes on packing pies for an office lunch cover the safe way to do it.
