Quick answer

No. As of October 2026 there is no Don Pie outlet, stall or kiosk in Toa Payoh. The two Toa Payoh North stalls run by founder Chef Don Lim closed by 2021. The nearest current outlets are the AMK Hub kiosk at Ang Mo Kio (three MRT stops north) and the Wisma Atria kiosk at Orchard (three stops south).

We get asked this more than anything else, so here is the answer without hedging: there is no Don Pie in Toa Payoh today. Not a stall, not a kiosk, not a pickup point. If a map app or an old article tells you otherwise, it is out of date.

What was in Toa Payoh?

Two stalls run by Chef Don Lim, the founder of Don Pie, both in Toa Payoh North:

  1. Don Signature Crab at Blk 206 Toa Payoh North, #01-1197. A coffee-shop stall selling crab bee hoon soup, from about 2015. The Blk 206 story.
  2. Don’s Pie & Cake, Signature Crab at 1008A Toa Payoh North, Toa Payoh Food Centre II. Pies and crab, from late 2019 to 2021. The Food Centre II story.

Both closed by 2021, when Chef Don moved his kitchen to 39 Tyrwhitt Road in Jalan Besar. The whole chapter is in our Don Pie Toa Payoh section.

Why do some listings still say Toa Payoh?

Because the internet remembers. Food-blog posts from 2017 to 2020 with “Toa Payoh” in the title still rank well. At least one large travel review site still files the current restaurant under a Toa Payoh area name, and a food directory tags it as Toa Payoh seafood and pastries. Search summaries then repeat those labels. None of them reflect a current Toa Payoh address.

If you see “Don Pie, Toa Payoh West” or similar on a listing, treat it as a legacy label. The restaurant’s address is 39 Tyrwhitt Road, Singapore 207538.

  • For a quick takeaway pie: AMK Hub. It is on the way for anyone heading north, and it is open daily from 10am to 9pm.
  • For pies and crab bee hoon to take home: AMK Hub again, since it is one of only two outlets that sell crab.
  • For a sit-down meal: Tyrwhitt Road. It is the only outlet with seats.
  • For a pie after a day in town: Wisma Atria, at Orchard.

If you are carrying pies home on the train, donchickenpie.com’s MRT carrying tips are worth a minute.

Hours are as of October 2026 and kiosks can close earlier when they sell out, so check before a special trip.
